wow. that looks so great. I've always wanted to make candied oranges (orangettes, really) but was never confident I'd actually like them. kudos to you for making them and (of course) for making your own bday cake.

The candied oranges were actually super easy. It makes me want to candy oranges all of the time, or maybe try to candy other things? I don't know. I encourage it!

Happy Birthday! Candied oranges seem fancy, so no better occasion than a birthday!
